Glocal After School, an entity of Glocal Pvt. Ltd., is set to launch the sixth edition of Skill Week, a week-long celebration dedicated to equipping youths and students with essential 21st-century skills.
Skill Fest 2025 Embark College
Scheduled to take place from January 6 to January 13, 2025, this transformative event will focus on bridging the gap between academia and industry while promoting employability through various workshops, competitions, and networking opportunities.
Building on the success of previous editions, Skill Week 2025 centers on four key pillars: Science & Technology, Art & Culture, Tourism & Hospitality, and Entrepreneurship. This year, the event adopts the themes of Green Economy, Sustainable Ecosystem, and International Connectivity, ensuring an immersive and forward-thinking experience for participants.
On January 10, 2025, the Skill Fest will be held at Embark College, Pulchowk, Lalitpur. Open to youths, this free platform offers interactive opportunities to explore, test, and develop skills. Participants can expect skillful stalls, job opportunities, and activities designed to engage, educate, and inspire. From workshops by reputed organizations and individuals to roundtable discussions on Industry-Academia Interaction on January 12, Skill Week 2025 offers a diverse lineup of events. Notable highlights include: Workshops, Exhibitions and Displays, Competitions, Skill Fest and Entertainment, and a Job Fair.
Additionally, the much-anticipated CEO Unplugged forum will be held on January 13, 2025. This platform brings together entrepreneurs, business leaders, and students for panel discussions on contemporary business challenges and future possibilities under the theme of “Today Meets Tomorrow.” The closing ceremony on January 13, 2025, will also feature the Skill Hero Awards, recognizing individuals who have made extraordinary contributions in Art & Culture, Tourism & Hospitality, Science & Technology, and Entrepreneurship.
