46th CSI Training at Himalayan Secondary English School, Gunjanagar, Chitwan Initially, Concept of Cyber Security Awareness in Nepal has been revealed by Prof. Dr. Ramhari Subedi, who lives in Washington DC; also, he is the founder president of www.dcnepal.com and the first appointed Cyber Security Advisor of Central Investigation Department of Nepal Police.
Now Dr. Subedi, the CEO of Cyber Security International, is launching cybersecurity awareness campaign nation-wide; firstly, from Kathmandu, Jhapa and Chitwan.
Today, the CSI’s awareness generating program cum basic level training program has been conducted at Himalayan Secondary English School located at Gunjanagar, Chitwan. Principal Madhav Sir (Mr. Madhav Kafel), teachers Mr. Bijaya Kumar Nepali and Mr. Sanjog Parajuli, and guests Mr. Paras Poudel and Ms. Nirma Jamarkatel have also participated in the program.
The program has been conducted by the Head Trainer and Regional Director for Chitwan and West Nepal Mr. Chiranjeevee Pokhrel. Program Coordinator Miss Pooja Gurung had fully assisted in the program.
At first, Regional Director Mr. Pokhrel smoothly handled the program focusing on the security in the standalone computer. Then, he taught the way of creating a Gmail ID and Facebook ID. Then, he showed several types of protection in Gmail and Facebook. Also, the students were taught about parental control and how to find the mobile in the cases of both iOS and Android. Coordinator Pooja fully supported in Find Mobile topic.
Ultimately, Principal Mr. Madhav Kafel positively described the importance of this type of IT training. Finally, the students the trainees were offered with CSI’s Basic Certificate. The program ran for four and a half hours, i.e., from 11:30 to 4:00 p.m.
The trainees have given positive feedback after the completion of the training.
