Software Freedom Day (SDF) is going to be organized at Nepal College of Information Technology (NCIT), Balkumari, Patan (lalitpur) on 17th september, 2016, Saturday at 9:00 AM. This program is for everyone, so put your active participation on it. Software freedom day (SFD) is a global event held on 3rd Saturday of September every year. So it is also the day to celebrate the Free and Open Source Software (FOSS) philosophy. For this year, 17th september will be the right time to conduct Software Freedom Day’16. It is once a year program so lets celebrate Software Freedom Day for the sake of increasing awareness of Open Source and Its Virtues, and encouraging of its use.
It is celebrated world wide and for this year the global theme is “FREEDOM MATTERS!” So lets celebrate together with Nepal Open Source Klub (NOSK).
