The new Sony A7R Mark II is a mirrorless camera that can take interchangeable lenses the same as a DSLR. It is a 42-megapixel full frame camera that shoots a high quality 4 K HD videos in comparatively small storage such as cheap SDXC cards.
There is no camera ever invented that takes complete hybrid still video. It has got the fantastic detail of the Panasonic GH 4 which has reached the low light performance of a full frame sensor and has excellent image stabilization that is compatible with any lens.
It has got a fantastic setup with the first class focusing for a mirrorless camera and the Canon lens compatibility with an adapter, and all these parts are sealed in quite a light, compact body.
It can capture the best low light photos, but they are slightly less in quality than that obtained by DSLRs. The sensor shaft stabilization is a fantastic feature that can work with any lens of any brand.
It is beneficial for video shooting since the previous lenses without the optical stabilization were useless virtually at the time of shooting handheld. The focus system of A7R Mark II is best among the mirrorless cameras due to nearly 400 on sensor phase detection points. It has some drawbacks such as it gets overheated while shooting 4 K videos.
According to research, the cameras start to get overheated while shooting 4 K video for 45 mins continuously in an air-conditioned room. The battery life of this camera is also not very compelling; one can shoot 4 K videos for an hour only. This camera is costly as it costs $3300 while the best DSLRs in the world from Canon and Nikon costs below $3000.
