SonyLIV is a globally available Indian OTT (over-the-top) premium streaming platform owned by Sony Pictures Networks India (SPNI).
SonyLIV is now available in Nepal after Telenet Private Limited and SPNI agreed.
This is the first time, a globally popular, on-demand OTT platform has come into a strategic partnership with a local company, Telenet Private Limited, in Nepal, thereby promising subscribers uninterrupted access to movies, television series, live sports and Original Programming, and also featuring content licensed from third-parties and expanding the content reach to other countries.
Telenet Pvt Ltd, a Ramesh Corp entity, is an Information Technology company based out in Kathmandu, Nepal. It is the authorized distributor-reseller of SonyLIV in Nepal.
The company provides value-added services for Telecom operators, Cloud Computing, Application Development, mHealth, and SMS & Tele voting platforms in Nepal.
Mr. Navankur Sood, CEO at Telenet, talked about the partnership stating, “this partnership will ensure new dimensions to work together for the more consumer-centric objectives of both the partners in Nepal territory.”
How to Purchase SonyLIV Subscription
A month SonyLIV premium subscription price in Nepal is Rs. 469/month. Users can activate or renew their subscription at Click Here.
These options are not available inside the App, so this portal allows users to subscribe without the hassle of carrying an International Credit card.
To buy the subscription, you have to enter your mobile number.
If you wish to renew your subscription as an existing user, you must input your registered mobile number.
