The operations have started under the name Swarojgar Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited following the successful acquisition of Wean Nepal Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited.

The acquisition brings together two microfinance institutions headquartered in the Kavrepalanchok district.
- Swarojgar Laghubitta: Headquartered at Banepa-5, Kavrepalanchok, Swarojgar Laghubitta is a national-level ‘D’ class microfinance financial institution licensed by Nepal Rastra Bank.
- Wean Nepal Laghubitta: Registered at Banepa-13, Kavrepalanchok, Wean Nepal Laghubitta operated as a Bagmati Province-level microfinance institution prior to the acquisition
- Regulatory Framework: The acquisition process was executed in full compliance with the Merger and Acquisition Bylaws, 2073 (with amendments) issued by Nepal Rastra Bank.
Operational Details and Commencement Date
- Regulatory Approvals: Swarojgar Laghubitta secured all mandatory final approvals from Nepal Rastra Bank, the Securities Board of Nepal (SEBON), and the Office of the Company Registrar.
- Asset & Liability Assumption: Swarojgar Laghubitta has formally assumed all assets, liabilities, and contingent liabilities of Win Nepal Laghubitta that existed up to the final date of acquisition.
- Effective Date of Integrated Operations: Integrated financial operations officially launched under the name Swarojgar Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited on Sunday, Bhadra 21, 2083 BS.
- Public Notice: The institution issued a formal public notice informing shareholders, general investors, and relevant stakeholders regarding the successful completion and operational start of the integrated entity.
