Are you ready to test your cybersecurity skills in a real-world Capture The Flag (CTF) competition? BCS 6th Semester students of Texas College of Management & IT are organizing CTF: Secure the Future, a one-day individual-based cybersecurity competition on January 31, 2025, at Texas College of Management & IT, Sifal, Kathmandu.

This event is designed to enhance technical expertise, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities through hands-on challenges.

Cryptography – Solve ciphers and decrypt encoded messages.
Web Exploitation – Find and exploit vulnerabilities in web applications.
Forensics – Investigate digital artifacts, logs, and suspicious files.
Pwning – Exploit software vulnerabilities and gain system access.
OSINT (Open Source Intelligence) – Gather intelligence from publicly available data sources.

9:00 AM – 10:00 AM: Registration and Welcome
10:00 AM – 12:30 PM: Workshop & Speech by Guest
1:30 PM – 4:00 PM: Main CTF Competition
4:10 PM – 5:00 PM: Closing Ceremony & Networking
Event Rules & Requirements
Individual competition only – No team collaboration is allowed.
Bring your device – Participants must have essential cybersecurity tools pre-installed (Python, Burp Suite, Wireshark, etc.).
Submit flags via the CTFd platform – Points are awarded based on challenge difficulty and submission time.
Ethical conduct is mandatory – Any unethical activities (DoS attacks, brute force, etc.) will lead to immediate disqualification.
Respect and professionalism – Participants must maintain respectful behavior toward mentors, organizers, and fellow competitors.
Organizers are not responsible for hardware malfunctions or connectivity issues.
