HTC announced the new HTC Desire 728 dual sim smartphone in September 2015 and released it on November the same year that comes up with an Android OS v5.1.1 (Lollipop). This phone has a dimension of 157.9 x 77.8 x 7.9 mm (6.22 x 3.06 x 0.31 in) with 7.9 mm thickness and weighs about 153 grams. This phone supports CDMA/ GSM/ HSPA/ LTE/ EVDO network configurations. It uses Nano-SIM technology.
The display is of 16M colors and has Super LCD2 capacities touchscreen. Screen size is 5.5 inches, and the to-body ratio is 67.9%. The screen resolution is 720 x 1280 pixels which are precisely 267 PPI pixel density. It supports multi touch and comes up with HTC Sense UI 6.0. It has got Mediatek MT 6753 chipset, and CPU comprises of Octa-core 1.3 GHz Cortex-A53 processors. The GPU used is Mali-T720 MP3.
The internal memory available is 16 GB and contains 2 GB RAM in Desire 728 whereas it is 16 GB and includes 1.5 GB RAM in that of Desire 728 G. It also supports micro SD slot that could be upgraded up to 200 GB (dedicated slot).
The primary camera comprises of a 13 MP, f/2.0, 28 mm, autofocus, OIS and LED flash camera while secondary consists of 5 MP, f/2.8, 234 mm and 1080 p@30fps. The video feature is 1080 p@30 fps, 720 p @120 fps and HDR. The camera features include Geo-tagging, face detection, touch focus, panorama, and HDR.
The microphone jack is 3.55 mm with Dolby Audio and has got stereo loudspeakers. The WLAN supported are Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, DLNA and hotpots. The Bluetooth version is v4.1, A2DP. It also comes with NFC connection and the GPS technology used is A-GPS, GLONASS. It also contains FM radio.
It also comes with compass, accelerator and proximity sensors. The messaging can be performed via MMS, SMS threaded view, Email and Push mail. The browser is HTML 5. The battery used is Non-removable Li-Po 2800 mAH battery giving the talk time up to 26 h (2G)/ 21 h (3 G), up to 496 h (2G) / 485h (3G) standby and music play up to 46h. The colors available are White and Black. The available models are HTC Desire 728G dual sim with 1.5 GB RAM and no LTE.
