ThopLa – Nepal’s Original Short Video App is Going Public on New Year

Recently, video sharing platforms like TikTok have grown in popularity in Nepal.

Nepal has launched Nepal’s own short video sharing App. The name of App is Thopla. Thopla is a free short video App and Social Platform Made In Nepal.

This app is created by a Yeklo company, will be released on April 14 on the occasion of New Year.

In this App, you can upload up to 15 seconds, 30 seconds, and 60 seconds of video by choosing songs. The company intends to make video sharing available on the website today and on the app on April 14.

You can create, edit and share short videos on the app. And at the same time, you can browse through a library of top videos across the globe.

You can like, comment, and share the video that has been posted on this app.

“Our main goal is to allow the user to earn money from the app,” the company’s managing director, Ujjwal Khana said. Let see how this project will turn out.

He told ICT News that there is a plan to offer something to users as a reward after hitting a certain floor, similar to YouTube’s play button.
