Five Startups

In an exciting announcement, the ICT Award 2023 has unveiled the top five contenders in three distinct categories, namely Startup ICT Award, Product ICT Award, and Rising Star Innovation ICT Award.

These prestigious accolades recognize outstanding contributions to the technology sector, and the winners will be determined through a combination of public voting and expert field visits.

The announcement comes on Kartik 15, 2080, with 14 jury members diligently selecting the top five entrants in each category, signifying the culmination of a rigorous selection process.

Top Five Startups:

  2. Diyo A.I Technology Pvt. Ltd.
  3. GG Corporation Pvt. Ltd. (Happy Minds)
  4. Rasan Technologies Pvt. Ltd.
  5. Yarsa Tech Pvt. Ltd.

Top Five Products:

  1. Digi Buzz
  2. Fast Banking
  3. Money Mitra
  4. QuickRPA
  5. Yatri P1

Top Five Rising Star Innovations:

  1. Blanxer
  2. Dreshion
  3. Drishya
  4. Intern Sathi
  5. Prasta Nepali

Over 200 nominations were received across these three categories, and the best 12 startups, 13 rising stars, and 14 products were showcased during the startup and idea fest held in Kathmandu on Ashoj 19 and 20. They also presented their innovations during a grand jury session on Ashoj 27, which will be featured in a special television show on Kantipur Television.

The next phase of the selection process will involve public voting to determine the ultimate winners in each category. Additionally, a jury committee will conduct field visits to assess the offices of the startup finalists. The grand finale program, scheduled for the 6th of Poush, will honor the champions.

The ICT Award 2023 is not limited to these three categories; the selection process is ongoing for other individual and institutional award categories, including Professional Excellence, Pioneer, Entrepreneur, Woman Icon, and Nepali Diaspora ICT Award. Furthermore, the first stage selection process is underway in the categories of Digital Education, Digital Governance, and Digital Services.

In addition to the domestic recognition, the ICT Award has garnered nominations from six different countries for the South Asia Startup Award category, with jury members from India, Bangladesh, Pakistan, and Sri Lanka contributing to the selection process.

Living with ICT has been at the helm of organizing the ICT Award program since 2016, and this year marks the 8th edition. With over 550 online nominations in 13 diverse categories, the selection process benefits from the expertise of 14 jury members and 13 expert advisory committees.

This celebration of technological innovation and excellence is made possible through the collaboration of various organizations, including the Ministry of Communication and Information Technology, Nepal Government, Information Technology Department, Nepal Telecommunications Authority, NAST, FNCCI, and NAS-IT.
