40th Training Conducted by Cyber Security International (CSI) in Nepal Police Shrimati Sangh, Bhrikuti Mandap, Kathmandu. Initially, Concept of Cyber Security Awareness in Nepal has been revealed by Dr. Ramhari Subedi, who lives in Washington DC; also, he is the founder president of www.dcnepal.com and the first appointed Cyber Security Advisor of Central Investigation Department of Nepal Police.


Now Dr. Subedi, the CEO of Cyber Security International, is launching cyber security awareness campaign nation-wide. Firstly through Kathmandu, Jhapa and Chitwan. The program had been conducted in Nepal Police Shrimati Sangh, Bhrikuti Mandap, Kathmandu.

At the presence and participation of the President of NEPAL POLICE SHRIMATI SANGH Mrs. Roshi Aryal (wife of IGP Upendra Kanta Aryal) and other VIP ladies (wives of highly decorated police officials), Dr. Ramhari Subedi smoothly handled the program focusing on the cyber security issues and preventive measures in the use of stand-alone computer, e-Mail, phone, facebook and other social media.

Dr. Subedi was fully supported by Senior Trainer Mr. Kumar Pudasaini and assisted by two coordinators namely Ms. Manisha Adhikari and Miss Pooja Gurung in the coordination of the program. Accordingly, there was presence of Cyber Security Coordinator Mr. Nirmal Sharma.

Representing DCNepal, Mr. Manas Thapa had given full technical support for the live coverage. Actually, today’s program has been done with the initiation and regular follow-up of Mrs. Babita Sharma (wife of AIGP Bigyan Raj Sharma).

Dr. Subedi introduced himself and focused on the objective of the program in the beginning and started the slide presentation for the first level training. He delivered short speech on all the slides to show the rapidly growth of cyber threats and to show the current cyber crime cases on Nepal.

Afterwards, the second level training started, where Dr. Subedi focused on DOs and DON’Ts in the use of stand-alone computer, Internet, E-mail and Social Media including Facebook, other social media and in the use of android and iPhone. The program continued for 4 hours, i.e. from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 pm. The participants including the guests gave pure positive feedback. Most of them were honored with CSI’s Basic Certificate.
