Twitter has shut down US President Donald Trump’s account for 12 hours.

On Wednesday, President Trump posted a video of rioters inside the parliament building on Twitter, claiming he was trying to spread social violence, and Twitter blocks Trump’s handle.

He added that it was normal for such demonstrations to occur after losing the winning strike on the election for US President. After the video was released, Twitter locked Trump’s handle and said it was against his business’s rules. Trump has 88.7 million followers on Twitter.

On Wednesday, Trump’s supporters broke through a security cordon and stormed the House of Representatives as Democratic candidate Joe Biden was sitting in parliament announcing his victory.
