TVS Apache AOG's Marshal Meet

27th June 2023, Kathmandu

The Apache Owners Group (AOG), a biking community aimed at fostering the spirit of a collective effort among youth, celebrated its anniversary with a series of successful events. The Marshal meet took place on Friday, June 23rd, followed by the anniversary ride on June 24th.

These events showcased the group’s commitment to promoting biking culture and brotherhood in Nepal.

The marshal meet, held at Crowne Plaza Hotel in Naxal, brought together 15 marshals from across the country. Head Marshal Gaurav Kumar Pathak provided essential information about vehicles and conducted necessary training sessions to ensure safer travel experiences.

The training has further strengthened the Apache Owners Group, ensuring that future rides led by trained marshals will be even safer and more enjoyable. TVS, a long-time advocate of promoting brotherhood among Nepali youth through biking, has actively supported AOG in achieving its objectives.

In addition to the marshal meet, AOG successfully completed its anniversary ride. The ride commenced from the office of the Nepal Tourism Board in Bhrikutimandap, Kathmandu, and attracted over 70 participants. The journey took the riders to Mini Illam of Bhotechour, concluding with their return to Kathmandu in the evening.

During the event, veteran riders and moto vloggers Vijay Moktan, Pramod Shrestha (Goofy), Avashis Ojha, and Sagar Thapa, who previously participated in the Marquee Ride organized by AOG, were honored with certificates of appreciation and tokens of gratitude. Moreover, all participating riders received gift hampers and tokens of appreciation as a gesture of recognition.

In its first year of establishment, Apache Owners Group has achieved remarkable milestones, gathering over 3000 members from all over Nepal and successfully organizing 42 rides, including chapter and marshal rides. Notable rides include a night ride to Chitlang and a 7000 km long international ride.

AOG is a community formed by Jagdamba Motors, the official distributor of TVS two-wheelers in Nepal, with the aim of promoting biking culture.

The company has also established a group for riders participating in AOG rides through Viber, providing a platform for riders to seek solutions to bike-related issues and share experiences. Over the past year, TVS has consistently supported Apache Owners Group (AOG) as an influential community that engages in social work through biking and fosters connections among youth. The group has actively participated in various attractive and entertaining programs while promoting social activities.
