TVS ARE GP Nepal Winners Announced: Sujan Thapa Magar and Others Dominate the Track

TVS Motor Company, a global leader in two and three-wheeler manufacturing, successfully concluded the debut edition of TVS Apache Racing Experience (ARE GP) in Nepal, marking a significant milestone as the brand celebrates 20 years of the TVS Apache series.

The first selection round was held at the Vehicle Academy and Research Center, Satungal, with 60+ participants and 300+ visitors in attendance. The TVS ARE GP offered riders a unique opportunity to train, race, and feel the adrenaline of professional racing in a safe and thrilling environment. Participants were guided and mentored by TVS Racing Champions.
In Nepal, more than 60 riders competed on a professionally designed track with 10 challenging corners, where their performance was evaluated based on their fastest lap timings.
The championship featured three categories: 160cc, 200cc, and 310cc, giving participants across different segments an equal opportunity to test their racing skills.
The top three riders of each category were cheered by a huge crowd and were awarded an opportunity to compete in ARE GP finals at MIC Chennai, India, along with a cash prize of NPR 25K and exclusive TVS Motor riding gear. Winners from the selection round will progress towards the Grand Finale of ARE GP at the iconic Madras International Circuit (MIC) in Chennai in April 2026.
Introduced in 2007, the TVS Racing ARE GP Championship has emerged as a landmark platform for TVS Apache riders, combining fun, learning, and competition. In 2025, the championship expanded globally with TVS ARE GP International in Nepal, Mexico and Colombia, alongside 17 Indian cities, reaching 1,000+ Apache riders worldwide. Building on the remarkable success of its inaugural season, this edition represents a significant milestone as the championship expands to the global stage, reflecting two decades of TVS Apache’s racing DNA and innovation.
Category Winners – Nepal Selection Round
In the 160cc category, Sujan Thapa Magar emerged as the Winner, followed by Bibek Pandey as the 1st Runner Up and Prashant Sutihar as the 2nd Runner Up.
In the 200cc category, Abhinav Raj Malla clinched the Winner’s title, with Nimesh Thakuri securing the 1st Runner Up position and Milan Chhushyabaga finishing as the 2nd Runner Up.
Meanwhile, in the 310cc category, Deelip Danuwar dominated the track to take the Winner’s crown, while Ram Bikram Thapa and Shreetesh Thapa were declared the 1st Runner Up and 2nd Runner Up, respectively.
The category winners will now earn an exclusive opportunity to compete at the TVS ARE GP Grand Finale at the iconic Madras International Circuit (MIC), Chennai, scheduled for April 2026. In addition, the winners were awarded cash prizes of NPR 25,000 along with exclusive TVS Motor riding gear.

The day-long celebration covered engagement activities like wheelie ramp, stunt shows, and gymkhana session for over 200+ audience that was followed by entertainment by DJ Sujan, DJ Kira,n and DJ Sabin, giving riders and enthusiasts a complete motorsport festival experience.
