United Ajod Insurance Completes Allocation of Unsubscribed Rights Shares, Refunds to Follow

United Ajod Insurance Limited has completed the allotment of its unsubscribed rights shares and initiated the refund process for unsuccessful applicants.

The non-life insurer announced that 63,847 founder-group shares remained unsubscribed following a rights share auction conducted between Jestha 29 and Asar 8.
Because no applications were received from existing founder shareholders during the initial auction window, the board of directors resolved to offer the shares to the general public and interested institutions via a sealed-bid process.
Sealed Bidding and Allotment Timeline
Following the board decision, United Ajod Insurance invited applications through sealed bids open from Asar 25 to Shrawan 1.
The company verified and opened the submitted bids on Shrawan 7, officially finalizing the share allotment process on Shrawan 12.

Cutoff Price Fixed at Rs 112.60
The insurer set the final allotment cutoff price at Rs 112.60 per share.
Applicants who submitted bids at the final cutoff price were allocated shares on a proportionate basis, determined by the relative weight of their submitted applications.
Direct Refund Transfer via Interbank Payment System
United Ajod Insurance has initiated refund proceedings for applicants who received partial allocations or were not allotted shares.
Refund amounts will be credited directly to the bank accounts listed in the original application forms through the Interbank Payment System.
Applicants are advised to check their designated bank accounts to confirm the receipt of the refund credit.
