Hero MotoCorp Launches VIDA Electric Two-Wheelers in Nepal via CG Motors

Hero MotoCorp officially launches its electric vehicle brand VIDA in Nepal through CG Motors, introducing the VIDA VX2 e-scooter and DIRT.E K3 off-road bike for smart mobility.

Hero MotoCorp has officially announced the entry of its premium electric two-wheeler brand, VIDA, into Nepal as its very first international market. With this milestone, VIDA has officially kicked off its global market expansion.
Tailored to meet the multi-dimensional lifestyles and needs of Nepalese customers, the VIDA VX2 EVOOTER series and the youth-focused VIDA DIRT.E K3 electric off-road motorcycle are now available in the Nepalese market.
Advanced Features of VIDA VX2 EVOOTER and DIRT.E K3
Designed for daily commuting and urban travel, the VIDA VX2 EVOOTER has achieved top placement in the Two-Wheeler Initial Quality Study by the globally renowned research institution JD Power, thanks to its cutting-edge technology, exceptional range, and powerful performance. Meanwhile, the VIDA DIRT.E K3 aims to provide a safe, thrilling, and fully electric off-road riding experience for the younger generation.
1. VIDA VX2 EVOOTER (Two Exceptional Variants)
VX2 Plus: Specifically built for Nepal’s steep and challenging roads, this model features a 4.4 kWh battery capacity (comprising two removable 2.2 kWh units). It delivers a real-world range of approximately 140 kilometers and a top speed of 90 km/h. It can accelerate from 0 to 40 km/h in just 3.1 seconds, and charges from 0 to 80% in 65 minutes via DC Fast Charging.
VX2 Go: Equipped with a 2.2 kWh removable battery, it offers a real-world range of about 75 kilometers and a top speed of 70 km/h. It also supports DC Fast Charging, reaching 0 to 80% in 65 minutes.
Smart Features: Both models come with removable batteries that can be conveniently charged at home using a standard 5-ampere socket. Smart connected features include the My VIDA App, navigation, geo-fencing, call and SMS alerts, and Over-the-Air (OTA) updates.
2. VIDA DIRT.E K3 (Smart Electric Off-Road Bike for Youth)
Targeted primarily at teenage and young riders, this off-road bike features an Adaptive System that can be adjusted into three different sizes based on the rider’s age and physical build, ensuring long-term comfort and safety.

It includes an App-based Parental Control feature, allowing parents to regulate speed limits, set maximum speeds, and choose from three riding modes: Mode 1 (8–9 km/h), Mode 2 (17–18 km/h), and Mode 3 (23–24 km/h).

Powered by a 350-watt motor and a 360 Wh removable battery, the bike offers up to 3 hours of riding time depending on terrain and mode, with a 20% to 80% charge taking roughly 2 hours.

For its exceptional design and innovation, the VIDA DIRT.E K3 has received the prestigious Red Dot Design Award 2025 and the CES Innovation Award 2026.
