Vivo unveiled its budget smartphone in the Y-series back in April in Cambodia. Now, the Vivo Y50 has made its way to India on June 10, 2020. We reckon it will soon be making its debut in Nepal. Vivo Y50: Overview
The 8GB RAM, a massive 5000mAh battery, and Snapdragon 665 SoC are something to look out for in its budget price tag. It features a 6.53-inch full HD+ display with a resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels. Moreover, it has a hole-punch design and a 19.5:9 aspect ratio.
Taking a look at the camera features, it sports a quad-camera setup at the rear. In fact, the rear camera is housed inside a rectangular camera module along with a single LED flash. The primary camera is a 13MP sensor accompanied by the secondary 8MP ultra-wide-angle sensor. The other two are 2MP sensors for macro shoots and depth sensing. The selfie shooter is a 16MP that supports Vivo’s AI smart beauty feature.
Powering the Vivo Y50 is an Octa-core processor that runs on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 664 chipset. Furthermore, the smartphone runs Android-based Funtouch 10. Supporting its performance is its 8GB RAM and 128GB internal storage (expandable).
The device comes with a massive 5000mAh battery with 15W fast charging technology using the USB Type-C interface. And, the capacitive fingerprint sensor at the back handles the biometrics department. Talking about its features, it also has Digital Zoom, Autoflash, Touch to focus, and Face detection. The connectivity options include WiFi, GPS, Bluetooth, Volte, and so on.

Vivo Y50 Price in Nepal & Availability
The smartphone first made its debut in Cambodia at a price of $240. Now, it has been launched in India for a price tag of INR 17,990. It is expected to be available across both online and offline channels including Vivo’s own e-store, Amazon, Flipcart, and Paytm.
In the context of Nepal, we could soon be looking at an official announcement from Vivo Nepal. However, we can’t exactly say when. But when it does arrive, we expect the Vivo Y50 price to reach around NPR 28,990.
