Design and Display
The Vivo Y51 (2020) sports a 6.58-inch IPS LCD panel AMOLED display with a water-drop notch. AMOLED technology is highly preferred because of its gorgeous color reproduction ability and darkness. There is no in-display fingerprint sensor instead the fingerprint reader on the Y51 is shifted to the side. It has 2400 x 1080 pixels resolution and 415 PPI pixel densities.
Talking about the physical dimension it measures 163.9 x 75.3 x 8.4 mm (6.45 x 2.96 x 0.33 in) and weighs 188 g (6.63 oz). It features a triple camera setup on the back. It is available in two colors Titanium Sapphire and Crystal Symphony.
Performance
Vivo Y51 runs on fast mid-range ARM-based SoC Qualcomm Snapdragon 665. Along with the octa-core processor, it is supported by Adreno 610 in Graphics. On the software side, it consists of Funtouch OS 11 based on Android 11.
Looking on the storage, Y51 has 8GB RAM and packs 128GB of storage, which is expandable up to 1TB via microSD card.
Camera
It has Triple-camera at the back with a 48MP primary shooter with f/1.79 aperture, an 8MP ultra-wide lens with f/2.2 aperture, 2MP macro lens with f/2.4 aperture. The camera at the back also has a bunch of modes including portrait, pano, live photo, slo-mo, time-lapse, and others. You can shoot videos of 4K at 30fps and 1080p at 30fps from the rear camera. On the front side, it has a camera of 16MP which can shoot videos of 1080p at 30fps.
Battery
Vivo Y51 has a powerful battery. It is powered by Li-Po 5000 mAh non-removable battery. It comes with 18W (9V/2A) charging. For charging USB Type-C 2.0 is available.
Connectivity
It features Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, WIFI, USB Type-C 2.0, USB On-The-Go, 4G LTE for connectivity. For security purposes, it has a Fingerprint Scanner which is mounted at the side of the phone. Other sensors include Accelerometer, Proximity, Gyroscope, E-Compass.
