Manakamana Cable Car MoU

Manakamana Cable Car and Khalti Digital Wallet have signed an agreement which enables people to purchase Cable Car tickets from their phone using the Khalti app without the hassle of waiting in long lines.

The devotees visiting Manakamana can just open the Khalti app and pay for Manakamana cable car tickets by tapping on its option. The user will receive the e-ticket on their phone, which they can show and ride the cable car with. This will ease people from the hassle of waiting in long lines to make a purchase. The cable car has made such provision with the objective to encourage cashless transactions while purchasing tickets concerning the health safety of their customers.

Manakamana Cable Car is now closed down due to the Covid-19 pandemic. The cablecar ticket purchase service from Khalti will start as soon as the cable car reopens.
