Khalti Digital Wallet has introduced Waste Management Bill payment service to its app to make waste management bill payment service easier and hassle-free at zero cost.

The arrangement was implemented after an agreement between Khalti Digital Wallet and Waste Collector Companies. This service has made it possible for Khalti’s users to pay waste management bills immediately without any extra charge. Currently, the fee is payable to four different companies. They are; Action Waste Baneshwor, Active Nepal Boudha, Sarbakalyan Sewa Thankot, and Clean Nepal.

After signing the contract, Assistant Manager of Khalti Digital Wallet, Mr. Jonaam Bhurtel, said, “This collaboration with Waste Collector Companies now has made it easier for anyone to pay waste management fees anytime and from anywhere with Khalti App. This started with the Software Company UpCode Nepal’s support to whom we are very grateful for the initiation. Adding more services like these, we believe we will be able to replace the traditional method of paying culture”.

To use this service, users need to go to “Waste” on the Khalti’s home screen and select their waste collector company. Now, they are required to enter “Card Number” and tap on the “GET DETAILS” button. Then, the total due amount appears on the next screen. Users can now proceed with the payment.
