Hult Prize at IOF has successfully conducted a 6-day training program from 5th to 10th of November on DESIGN THINKING for the participants of the Hult Prize On-Campus event at the Institute of Forestry. Ashish Bhatt and TribeshKayastha from Maker Valley facilitated the training to the participants that focused on problem identification and solving.
As a part of the training, the organizers are also conducting sessions on Business Model Canvas and Pitching and Presentation. Intending to groom the participating students’ ideas, the Hult Prize at IOF has been providing several workshops and sessions on Idea Pitching, Leadership Skills, Green Business Identification, and Marketing and Public Relations.
Hult Prize at IOF has also announced Maker Valley as their Innovative Partner. Maker Valley is a collaborative innovation space that helps students and passionate creators in the ideation and design process.
They provide skill-building workshops related to design and technology and support innovators in experimentation and prototyping of their ideas. TribeshKayastha is the lead designer at the Maker Valley and experiments with product design, and Ashish Bhatt designs workshops and learning experiences.
In the initial tier of the Hult Prize competition, the On-Campus Event, 20 teams from the Institute of Forestry are participating. The On-Campus final event is scheduled to be held around the 4th week of November and the winner of the On-Campus event will be qualified for the regionals.
The 4-tier competition will see the best idea from the globe being awarded the capital prize of US $1 million as start-up funds for their social enterprise.
