26th May 2026, Kathmandu
Leading technology brand Xiaomi has unveiled two new AIoT devices in Nepal, Xiaomi Tag and Redmi Headphones Neo, designed to make everyday life smarter, simpler, and more intuitive.
Xiaomi Launches Xiaomi Tag
Xiaomi Tag: Weighing just 10g, Xiaomi Tag is designed to track personal items like keys, purses, and suitcases, with the use of a dedicated tracking app.
It is compatible with a wide range of devices, improving location accuracy, making it easier to be found once marked as lost with the Lost Mode function that provides the owner’s contact details when found by others. It also sends alerts for unfamiliar locations while allowing users to pre-set frequent locations to avoid unnecessary alerts.
The tag features encrypted tracking, an anti-tracking alert system, and up to one year of replaceable battery life for safe and reliable use. With IP67 Dust and water resistance, it is built to withstand sun, rain, and dust, along with everyday bumps and minor accidents. Users can also share the device with others for better support in locating the lost items.
Redmi Headphones Neo: The Redmi Headphones Neo is designed to deliver a smarter, more immersive, and uninterrupted everyday listening experience.
Featuring adaptive ANC of up to 42dB, it significantly reduces surrounding noise, and the Hi-Res wired audio enhances the sound quality, making it cleaner and richer, while the 40mm dynamic driver delivers deeper bass, louder sounds, and a fuller audio experience.
With up to 72 hours of battery life on a full charge, it offers extended usage with less frequent charging. Additionally, the triple microphone system with AI-powered noise reduction provides clearer and more reliable phone calls.
The Redmi Headphones Neo is available in classic Black and Sand White colors and is priced at NPR 12,999, whereas the Xiaomi Tag is priced at NPR 2,999.
