Go दान is a digital fundraising platform designed to make giving simple, safe, and transparent for individuals and communities across Nepal.
The startup is founded by Abhushan Shrestha, a Level 4 student of BSc (Hons) Computer Science – Artificial Intelligence, who presented a compelling introduction and shared the inspiration behind the platform.
During his speech, Abhushan expressed, “Go दान began with a simple mission to make it easier for people to get help when they need it most.
With the guidance and resources from the TBC Incubation Centre, we have taken our first steps towards building a platform that empowers communities.”
The launch event was attended by students, faculty, and TBC leadership, who celebrated both the innovation behind Goदान and the support structure now available through the enhanced Incubation Centre.
Dr Declan P Bannon congratulated the team, stating, “Congratulations to Team Goदान and to Mr Ganesh Paudyal for bringing this startup to life. This launch exemplifies what our incubation ecosystem aims to achieve.”
Highlighting TBC’s role in nurturing young entrepreneurs, Group CEO and Founder, Mr Rajen Kandel, shared his own story of starting young:
“At the age of 22, I started my first business by borrowing money from a credit card. It takes courage to begin, and that courage deserves a platform.
Through the TBC Incubation Centre, The British College is here to support you, guide you, and help define what it means to be more than a college.”
The successful launch of Goदान sets the tone for the Incubation Centre’s future, as TBC continues to create an environment where students can innovate, collaborate, and build ventures that generate real-world impact.
