F1Soft International New CEO Sanat K. Paudel Appointment on 22nd Anniversary

Marking a significant milestone on its 22nd Anniversary, Nepal’s fintech giant F1Soft International has announced the appointment of Sanat Kumar Paudel as its new Chief Executive Officer.

Paudel succeeds Co-founder Subash Sharma, who led the company as CEO for over a decade. Under Sharma’s leadership, F1Soft pioneered transformative services such as mobile banking, digital wallets, cross-border payment systems, and digital lending in Nepal. Sharma will transition into a strategic role as a Director on the company’s board.

A Vision for Global Fintech Leadership

Sanat K. Paudel brings over two decades of experience in Information Technology and digital banking. Before this appointment, he spent over ten years at Nabil Bank, leading payment technology management and digital transformation initiatives.

Currently serving as the CEO of FoneNxt, Paudel will now hold a dual leadership role, managing both F1Soft and FoneNxt. His primary focus will be:

As one of the earliest architects of mobile payments in Nepal, F1Soft has built the foundational rails for the country’s “cashless economy.” By collaborating with major commercial banks and financial institutions, the group has significantly boosted financial inclusion through its ecosystem.
