NIC Asia Bank Limited has extended educational support to four community schools situated across Dadeldhura, Rukum West, and Achham districts.
NIC Asia Supports Digital Learning
The institutional program was organized under the bank’s corporate social responsibility initiatives, directly aiming to improve educational quality and expand access to modern information technology in remote geographical regions.
The financial institution provided essential digital infrastructure packages including laptops, desktop computers, printers, and modern projectors to the selected academic institutions. The equipment rollout is specifically designed to enhance daily classroom learning experiences while optimizing internal administrative efficiency.
REGIONAL DISTRIBUTION AND BENEFICIARY SCHOOL DETAILS
The community support program deployed specific technical assets based on the unique operational requirements of each regional school setup. The decentralized distribution covered multiple municipalities across three remote districts:
- Dadeldhura District Support: The bank donated two functional projectors to Shree Bhuwaneshwari Secondary School located in Navadurga Rural Municipality 1, Asurpa. The technology deployment directly benefits more than 153 active students, with Dadeldhura Branch Manager Padam Raj Bhatt handing the equipment over to the school principal.
- Rukum West District Contribution: One modern printer was presented to Shree Yamunananda Model Secondary School situated in Musikot Municipality 5, Serigaun. The installation aids the administrative needs of a large facility housing an enrollment of over 1087 students, with the handover executed by Branch Manager Omkar Gharti Magar.
- Achham District Infrastructure Scaling: The bank supported two separate academic institutes within Mangalsen Municipality. Shree Mangala Nepal National Secondary School received two laptops, four desktop computers, and one printer to assist its 483 students. Similarly, Shree Annapurna Secondary School in Kalagaun obtained two laptops, four desktop computers, and one printer to serve its student base of more than 405 youths.
The combined technical hardware for both schools operating inside the Achham district was delivered and set up under the coordination of Sanfebagar Branch Manager Surendra Bahadur Thapa.
DRIVING DIGITAL LEARNING AND LOCALIZATION GOALS
NIC Asia Bank Limited believes that installing tech resources directly helps bridge the digital divide affecting rural educational institutions. The introduction of computer hardware enables regional teachers to adopt visual learning tools and standard computer literacy programs.
The management highlighted that upgrading public school infrastructure yields multiple benefits for remote communities:
- Enhanced Classroom Engagement: Allowing teachers to utilize interactive media, presentation slides, and internet reference materials during daily lectures.
- Strengthened Institutional Administration: Enabling school secretariats to manage student records, internal examinations, and compliance documentation digitally.
- Empowered Rural Youth: Equipping community students with baseline technological familiarity required to pursue higher academic paths and modern employment.
By systematically distributing these tech products through its provincial branch heads, the commercial banking firm continues to validate its alignment with community development goals. The corporate organization plans to monitor the educational usage metrics of these setups while continuing its regular socio economic investment projects across the country.
