IGI Prudential Insurance Limited has officially opened applications for its Basic Non Life Insurance Agent Training Program. The upcoming training initiative is designed for individuals and corporate institutions aspiring to acquire a professional non-life insurance agent license.

Eligibility Criteria for Individual Applicants
Individual candidates must meet specific minimum qualifications and submit required documentation to be considered eligible for the training program. Applicants must provide a copy of their Nepali citizenship certificate alongside a recent passport-sized photograph.
Educational qualifications require candidates to have completed at least Higher Secondary School 10+2 or Proficiency Certificate Level or an equivalent qualification. Applicants must submit official mark sheets along with character certificates issued by their respective educational institutions. Furthermore, applicants must provide a copy of their Permanent Account Number card alongside a formal application stating their primary phone number and valid email address.
Requirements for Institutional Applicants
Corporate organizations seeking to participate in the non-life insurance agency training must meet statutory eligibility standards under prevailing laws. The institution must be legally registered and must explicitly include non-life insurance agency activities within the objectives outlined in its Memorandum and Articles of Association.
Additionally, the applying institution must not be blacklisted by any regulatory body or government entity under current financial regulations. The organization must formally nominate a qualified director, chief executive officer, or senior management official to complete the training course on behalf of the company.
Training Format and Daily Schedule
The training program will be conducted virtually through an online platform, allowing participants across Nepal to attend sessions conveniently. The course is scheduled to run from Bhadra 8 through Bhadra 11, 2083 BS.
Training sessions will take place daily from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Participants must ensure consistent attendance and complete the required hours throughout the four-day online instructional program.
Examination and Licensing Process
The formal evaluation for the licensing program will take place on the final day of the training course. The online examination is scheduled for 2:00 PM on Bhadra 11, 2083 BS.
Participants must appear in the examination and secure a minimum score of 50 marks out of 100 to qualify for certification. Only successful candidates who pass the exam will become eligible to apply for an official Non-Life Insurance Agent License from the insurance regulator.
