Kumari Bank Limited Contributes NPR 30 Million to PM Disaster Relief Fund and Donates Rescue Equipment

Kumari Bank Limited has deposited NPR 30 million into the Prime Minister’s Disaster Relief Fund under its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program.

The financial contribution is aimed at assisting ongoing relief, rescue, and rehabilitation operations for communities affected by recent floods and natural disasters across Nepal.
Rescue Equipment Support Package
AI Surveillance Drones: The bank dispatched five advanced AI-equipped surveillance drones valued at approximately NPR 3.9 million to enhance aerial monitoring and search capabilities.
Portable Generators and Power Banks: The assistance includes three 5 kVA capacity portable generators along with 100 power banks to maintain emergency power supply in affected zones.
Military Base Handover: The technology and equipment have been dispatched for formal handover to the Nepal Army camp located in Nuwakot to boost real-time search and rescue operations.
Geographic Focus and Humanitarian Response
- Disaster-Affected Districts: Recent floodings have heavily impacted key regions, including Rasuwa, Nuwakot, Dhading, Gorkha, and Chitwan.
- State-Coordinated Assistance: Working alongside the Government of Nepal, the bank is supporting the delivery of emergency food items, temporary shelter arrangements, and basic humanitarian aid to displaced households.
- Corporate Message: Kumari Bank expressed deep condolences to affected families, urged authorities to accelerate rescue operations, and wished for the safe recovery of missing citizens and speedy healing for the injured.
