ADBL Provides NPR 1 Million in Relief Supplies to Flood Victims

Krishi Bikas Bank (ADBL) provides NPR 1 million in essential food supplies to 200 flood-affected families, following its previous NPR 30 million donation.

Demonstrating its strong commitment to corporate social responsibility, Krishi Bikas Bank Limited (ADBL) has stepped forward to support recently flood-affected citizens by handing over essential food supplies worth NPR 1 million.
The relief package is designed to support approximately 200 families displaced or impacted by the recent devastating floods across Nepal.
The comprehensive aid package includes vital food items such as rice, lentils, cooking oil, salt, biscuits, flattened rice, noodles, drinking water, and other daily essentials.
Key Highlights of the Bank’s Relief Initiative
Direct Family Support: Essential food supplies distributed to roughly 200 affected households to meet their immediate nutritional needs during this crisis.
Government Collaboration: The supplies were officially handed over to the government’s authorized relief collection center in Kathmandu.
Prior Contributions: This latest effort follows a major financial contribution of NPR 30 million previously donated by Krishi Bikas Bank to the Prime Minister’s Disaster Relief Fund.
Key Officials Present: The handover was led by Bina Sharma, Departmental Head of Marketing and Sales, alongside senior bank representatives including Maheshwor Marahatta, Geeta Nepal Sharma, Maniraj Dhungana, and Babita Aryal.
A Call for National and International Solidarity
Highlighting the gravity of the disaster, ADBL Provides NPR 1 Million in Relief Supplies to Flood Victims as part of a broader mission to address widespread flooding that has caused massive loss of life and property, displacing thousands of citizens.
In response to the ongoing humanitarian crisis, the bank has appealed to individuals, organizations, and businesses both within Nepal and abroad to come forward and contribute whatever they can toward relief, rescue, and rehabilitation efforts.
To facilitate transparent giving, the bank has also publicly released designated bank account details and QR codes for direct donations to the government’s Prime Minister’s Disaster Relief Fund.
