According to the official disclosures submitted to the Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE), several key members have stepped down, making way for newly appointed leadership to steer the bank forward.
Key Departures from the Board
The recent structural changes see the departure of three prominent figures representing institutional stakeholders:
Shobhakant Paudel: Chairman of the Board of Directors, who represented the Government of Nepal through the Ministry of Finance.
Amrit Lamsal: Board Director representing the Ministry of Finance.
Jeevan Kumar Katwal: Board Director representing the general public shareholders and the Employees’ Provident Fund (Karmachari Sanchaya Kosh).
Newly Appointed Directors
To fill the vacant positions, the respective stakeholders have appointed new representatives to take over governance and management oversight:
Pitambar Bhandari: Appointed as a Board Director representing the Ministry of Finance, Government of Nepal.
Devraj Joshi: Appointed as a Board Director representing the Ministry of Finance, Government of Nepal.
Subash Khadka: Appointed as a Board Director representing the Employees’ Provident Fund (Karmachari Sanchaya Kosh).
