NIC ASIA Bank Waives Service Charges for Flood-Impacted Branch Customers

NIC ASIA Bank has announced a 100 percent waiver on selected banking service fees for account holders registered at its Syafrubesi, Betravati, and Trishuli branch offices in Rasuwa district.

The facility remains active through the end of Poush 2083 to alleviate financial hardship caused by recent Bhote Koshi River flooding.
Waiver Coverage and Fee Exemptions
Digital Banking Exemptions: Full waiver on debit card issuance, renewal, PIN reset, card unblocking, and replacement fees for lost or damaged cards. Mobile and internet banking registration, renewal, and password reset fees are also waived.
Fixed Deposit Adjustments: Complete exemption from penalty fees for premature closure or liquidation of Fixed Deposit (FD) and Recurring Deposit (RD) accounts, alongside free issuance of duplicate FD receipts.

Cheque Processing Services: Zero charges for issuing new cheque books to replace lost ones or for requests submitted without standard requisition slips.
Administrative Charges: Complete fee waiver on duplicate debit or credit advice copies, customer recommendation letters, and account scheme migrations.

Operations Period: All charge waivers remain effective across the designated Rasuwa branches until the conclusion of Poush 2083.
