Government of Bangladesh Contributes 1 Million USD to Prime Minister Disaster Relief Fund

The Government of Bangladesh has provided 1 million US dollars to the Prime Minister Disaster Relief Fund of Nepal to support ongoing relief, rehabilitation, and humanitarian operations following severe floods and landslides.

Prime Ministerial Letter and Aid Handover: State Minister for Foreign Affairs Humayun Kabir presented an official letter from Bangladesh Prime Minister Tariq Rahman to Nepali Ambassador to Bangladesh Ghanshyam Bhandari. The letter was addressed to Nepal Prime Minister Balendra Shah.
Condolence Book Signing: State Minister Kabir signed the condolence book at the Embassy of Nepal in Dhaka on September 1 to formally express sympathies over the disaster.
Executive Messages of Solidarity: Prime Minister Tariq Rahman and President Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir conveyed messages of solidarity and condolences to Prime Minister Balendra Shah and President Ram Chandra Paudel, respectively.
