Citizens Bank International Limited Contributes 22.22 Million Financial and Emergency Relief to Flood Victims

Citizens Bank International Limited has provided 22,222,222 rupees in financial assistance to the Prime Minister Disaster Relief Fund to support search, rescue, medical treatment, and relief efforts following severe flooding in the Bhotekoshi River in Bagmati Province.

Ceremony Handover: At a formal handover ceremony held at the Ministry of Finance in Singha Durbar, Bank Chairperson Prabal Jung Pandey handed over the contribution check to Finance Minister Dr. Swarnim Wagle.
Executive Attendance: Board Member Digvijay Bista and Chief Executive Officer Ganesh Raj Pokharel represented the bank leadership alongside Chairperson Pandey during the official donation process.
Institutional Condolences: The financial donation aims to deliver immediate emergency assistance while expressing condolences to bereaved families and wishing speedy recoveries to injured disaster victims.

Devighat Branch Damage: The devastating flood caused total physical damage to the bank’s Devighat branch office located in Nuwakot district.

Immediate Relief Supplies: To deliver rapid local relief in flood-affected areas, the bank distributed emergency food packages and essential supplies to residents in Bidur Municipality-5, Devighat, Nuwakot.
Supply Breakdown: Distributed food packages contained essential staples including rice, lentils, flour, cooking oil, salt, soybeans, potatoes, biscuits, and instant noodles.
