Himalayan Bank Limited has issued an official notice announcing the relocation of its Birgunj branch operations to a new permanent location.

The relocation was necessitated after the bank’s original branch building on Mahavir Road, Birgunj Metropolitan City Ward No. 6, was demolished due to local road expansion and municipal right-of-way compliance.

Branch Relocation Background and New Service Location Details
Following the demolition of its former site, the branch had temporarily provided banking services from the Bypass Road, Birgunj Branch building (A-Max Cinema premises) in Ward No. 15.
- Effective Date of Operations: The branch has officially commenced full operations at its new location effective from Ashwin 9, 2083 BS (September 25, 2026).
- New Permanent Address: Birgunj Metropolitan City, Ward No. 10, Adarshnagar (Old Bus Park area).
- Operational Status: All banking and financial services have been fully restored and are actively operational at the new location.
