Sanima Bank Begins Distribution of 10 Percent Cash Dividend to Shareholders

Sanima Bank Limited has initiated the direct account distribution of a 10 percent cash dividend, including tax, to its shareholders for the fiscal year 2082/2083.

The dividend payout proposal was formally passed by the bank’s 22nd Annual General Meeting (AGM) held on Ashoj 12, 2083.
Dividend Distribution and Payout Details
- Approved Dividend Rate: 10 percent cash dividend (inclusive of applicable taxes) based on the bank’s total paid-up capital
- Fiscal Year: 2082/2083
- Preference Shares Dividend: Holders of 8.25% Sanima Non-Redeemable Non-Cumulative Preference Shares will receive an 8.25 percent cash dividend, including taxes
- Payout Method: Direct credit to bank accounts linked with shareholders’ DEMAT accounts starting from the AGM date
- Service Fees: Bank charges or fees incurred during the dividend transfer process must be borne by individual shareholders
Mandatory Updates for Merged Accounts
Sanima Bank has instructed shareholders whose account numbers were altered due to mergers or acquisitions of banks and financial institutions (BFIs) to update their account credentials within their respective DEMAT accounts immediately. Dividend amounts returned due to obsolete or mismatched account details will remain on hold and will only be re-issued following verified updates.
Requirements for Pledged Shares and Loan Facilities
Shareholders who pledged their shares to secure loan facilities are required to fulfill specific compliance steps based on the book closure date of Ashoj 1, 2083:
- Loans Active Before Book Closure: Shareholders holding pledged shares up to Bhadra 31, 2083, must present a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from the pledgee bank or financial institution stating the precise number of pledged shares.
- Loans Repaid Post-Cutoff: Shareholders who cleared their loans after the cutoff date must submit an original release request letter directly to the issue manager, Sanima Capital Limited, to process the dividend transfer.
