Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) has announced the absorption of 30 billion NPR in excess liquidity from the banking system through its deposit collection instrument.

- Bidding Date: Ashwin 21, 2083 (October 7, 2026) through the Online Bidding System (OBSS)
- Maturity Duration: 28 days, with final repayment scheduled for Kartik 18, 2083 ( November 4, 2026)
- Issuing Department: Monetary Management Department, Nepal Rastra Bank
Bidding Terms and Guidelines
- Eligible Institutions: Licensed Class A commercial banks, Class B development banks, and Class C finance companies
- Bidding Limits: Minimum bid amount of 100 million NPR, incrementing in multiples of 100 million NPR, up to a maximum limit of 30 billion NPR
- Allocation Mechanism: Interest rate-based competitive bidding, with funds allocated prioritizing the lowest interest rate bids up to the targeted 30 billion NPR limit
