Global IME Bank Promotes Deepchandra Regmi to Deputy Chief Executive Officer

Global IME Bank Limited has promoted Deepchandra Regmi to the position of Deputy Chief Executive Officer (DCEO).

The decision was finalized during a meeting of the bank’s Board of Directors held on Tuesday. Prior to this promotion, he served as the bank’s Assistant Chief Executive Officer (ACEO).
Executive Profile and Career History
- Career Start: Initiated his banking career in 2007 with Standard Chartered Bank Nepal.
- Association with Global IME Bank: Joined Global IME Bank in 2009 and has served the institution continuously since then.
- Key Management Roles: Previously served in several executive capacities, including Chief Financial Officer (CFO), Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO), Chief Lending Officer (CLO), and Head of Trade Finance.
- Corporate Leadership: Serves as the Chairman of the Board of Directors at Global IME Capital Limited, a subsidiary of Global IME Bank.
- Academic Background: Holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from the Asian Institute of Technology (AIT) in Thailand and Copenhagen Business School in Denmark.
