NIC Asia Bank to acquire Digital Signature from Nepal Certifying Company.

Nepal Certifying Company (NCC) finalized a deal with NIC ASIA Bank to deliver them with Digital Signature Certificates (DSC). This puts NIC ASIA in the growing list of financial institutions implementing DSC in their day-to-day activities.

NIC Asia is among the very few banking institutions in Nepal that have moved ahead with the concept of paperless business automation. The acquisition of DSC will help add to their aim to become paperless in daily banking activities in a secure and trusted environment. NCC is the managing partner of Radiant InfoTech Nepal Pvt. Ltd, the only Issuing certifying authority in Nepal.

Mr. Biplav Man Singh, Chairman, NCC said, “It is a great pleasure for us to provide DSC to NIC ASIA, which is one of the prominent banking institutions in the country. This deal further emphasizes our aim to implement DSC all over Nepal and make all the transactions in the country authentic and secure.”

Mr. Laxman Risal, Acting CEO of NIC ASIA said, “Automation of our systems/procedures and delivery channels is our top priority and deployment of Digital Signature will reduce the threats bank or customers might face while using digital delivery channels. I am sure that implementing DSC will help us to move forward more securely.”
