We somehow know how images seem to appear in the real world. It is because the light from our eyes gets to the object and bounces back for us to see that object. What if there would be a technology which would do the same making objects to appear virtually even if it is not present there. We all know about the virtual reality that has been a big thing for the technology industry these days. The lens known as Holo lens will be projecting images such that our brains will not be able to distinguish it from the real objects thus making us look in the virtual images as real objects. HoloLens, an augmented reality headset that projects holograms into the world by tricking the eye is the one Microsoft is working. Unlike VR headsets, Microsoft hololens have already made and shown its promises in the gaming industry with the help of hololens. It started by showing off Minecraft during the E3 conference, but the device has potential applications far beyond the world of gaming, both for consumers and businesses. And so it may be having a big future that thought. However, the first version of its kind will be expensive and limited. The later versions might come with more innovation on the lens.
Your brain does a lot of complicated things so that the objects in the real world can be seen. The process of understanding the images in the real world is used by the holo lens to trick the brain making them think like the real world objects. Its something innovative to do. The only reason it has not been hyped like the virtual reality is that it has not been able to show its possibilities. And the way the VR got popular, the holo lens couldn’t achieve such popularity. The holo lens itself can work like a computer.
Imagine waking up to have a plain wall, and with the holo lens, you might be having a screen where you will be able to watch a football match or someday play a game on the virtual screen that isn’t even real. Looking at information like they were the real physical world objects seems way more relaxed than the virtual reality. There are not just any limitations to this device, and it may be something to be proud of in the future.
To some, it may look as if Microsoft is working on something unique instead that the one everyone is following with like the VR headsets and virtual reality but soon they will also be coming to their senses as following the trend is not everything. It’s better to be working on something unlimited rather than following the pattern.
