Hult Prize Talk Session II

Were you aware that this session mentioned the significance of assembling a dream team? If you missed it, here’s a quick recap of what happened.

This year, the Hult Prize at IOE, Pulchowk Campus has formed a joint venture with title sponsor Mastakala, venue partner Entrance Cafe, security partner MSecurity, silver sponsor NMB Capital Ltd, and hosting partner Protozoa Host.

Students need to be energized to develop sustainable development and collaborate on some of the challenging global problems. Our talk series II, Forming a dream team, encourages participants to consider the qualities they would look for in a team member, the effectiveness of having a shared vision, and the role of communication and collaboration.

The Hult Prize is an annual, year-long competition that brings together the brightest college and university students from around the world to solve the most pressing social issues of our time. The competition is hosted by the Hult Prize Foundation, a non-profit organization dedicated to creating positive social impact through entrepreneurship.

After the introduction of the guests, one of the country’s top social entrepreneurs: Mr. Kiran Timsina and Ms. Shreeya Giri, the Talk series II officially began.

Ms. Shreeya Giri is the founder and managing director at Happy Minds, a mental health, and well-being organization. She is also the co-founder and director at Nepal Cashmere. She spoke about mental health, as well as issues and perspectives on mental health in Nepal. She highly encouraged us to form a pretty good team and instructed us on the consequences of doing otherwise. She strongly opposes fast fashion and provided us with fantastic guidance.

After that, there was a cake ceremony and with our OCs and Guests, we successfully made the cake ceremony a great success all volunteers and participants were joyful to see that ceremony.

Mr. Kiran Timsina, the CTO/Co-founder of Urban Girl

He fundamentally believes that humans are bound to be gradually replaced by machines wherever possible, either through advancement in technology or a declining global labor workforce. Therefore, he focuses on building a highly efficient mechanic managed by humans that sustains the future. He made a productive interaction with the participants. He concludes that teamwork is the most important factor and inspires us to operate with our teams.

The session was highly interactive, with the participants engaging in discussions and sharing their experiences. With smiling faces, the participants were enjoying the cake and the Q&A sessions. The guests provided valuable insights and advice on how to form a successful team.

Mr.Bishal Bashyal, our Campus Director, handled a token of love with our guests, which was a memorable moment.

The Hult Prize team was also pleased with the outcome of the session. The enthusiasm and commitment of the participants were evident throughout the session and it was clear that the session had a positive impact on them.

Overall, the session was a great success and the participants left feeling energized and motivated to pursue their dreams and concluded with the participants feeling inspired and motivated to form their own dream teams.
