Agrawal Sewa Kendra Contributes Rs 4.1 Million to PM Disaster Relief Fund

Agrawal Sewa Kendra has provided a financial contribution of Rs 4.1 million to the Prime Minister Disaster Relief Fund to support relief and rehabilitation operations for communities affected by the Rasuwa Bhotekoshi floods.

The devastating flood, which occurred on Bhadra 10 after originating from Tibet, caused extensive loss of life and severe property damage across affected regions.
Handover Ceremony and Financial Details
The financial support was officially presented to government representatives to strengthen central relief funds.
- Cheque Handover: Chairman Girdhari Agrawal presented the cheque worth Rs 4.1 million to Finance Minister Swarnim Wagle on Wednesday on behalf of the organization members.
- Fund Allocation: The donated sum will be deposited directly into the Prime Minister Disaster Relief Fund to assist government recovery efforts in flood hit zones.
Youth Forum Supplementary Relief Effort
In addition to the monetary contribution made directly to the government fund, the organization is mobilizing field level supplies.
- Additional Supplies: The Youth Forum operating under Agrawal Sewa Kendra announced it will distribute relief materials worth an additional Rs 1 million directly to flood affected communities.
- Targeted Aid: The supplementary aid program aims to deliver immediate essential items to displaced residents recovering from the disaster.
