Himalayan Everest Insurance has announced the appointment of Anju Shrestha as its new Chief Executive Officer (CEO). Shrestha, a seasoned insurance professional with a proven track record, will assume the role on October 4, 2024.
Anju Shrestha Appointed CEO
Shrestha, a resident of Lalitpur Metropolitan City-10, has been serving as the acting CEO of Himalayan Everest Insurance since June 28, 2024, following the dismissal of her predecessor. Her appointment comes after a unanimous decision by the company’s board of directors.
With a career spanning several years in the insurance industry, Shrestha brings a wealth of expertise to her new position. Before she was appointed CEO, she served as the Deputy CEO at the same company. Her deep understanding of the insurance market, particularly in the realm of reinsurance, is expected to drive the company’s growth and success.
