Parth Student Venture (PSV) – Nepal’s first student-led startup ecosystem enabler, is hugely excited to announce that the application for PSV Dream Fund is now open.

As a pilot investment cycle, this is an opportunity for early-stage entrepreneurs to secure a stake-free investment of up to NRs 1 lakh, along with consultation, mentorship, resources, and access to a community of changemakers, investors, and enthusiasts.

Any business idea or early-stage startup with founding team members below 30 can apply for this grant. The startup/idea should have a well-defined milestone-driven plan for allocating the fund, and further eligibility criteria can be accessed through the official website of PSV.

The deadline for the application is 15th December 2022. PSV Dream Fund is funded by Kathmandu Model College (KMC) as a part of their CSR to foster students’ experimental and innovative initiatives and bring together the community of such changemakers.

About PSV

The entrepreneurial scene in Nepal is rapidly evolving and is relatively young compared to many other countries.

Many hustlers and changemakers are constantly brainstorming to generate ideas with the aspiration of building a venture around them. While certain early-stage and first-time founders, especially students, do take a step forward and build an MVP to test their hypotheses, many refrains from doing so, citing financial issues, lack of primary startup-investment education, and access to industry networks.

Backed by partners and trustees from various backgrounds, the mission of PSV is to bridge that gap for Nepali student founders and increase the supply of early-stage/student founders in Nepal’s entrepreneurial ecosystem.
