Kathmandu, A formal meeting with NIC Asia Bank was held at the NIC Asia Bank premise where Chairman Mr. Biplav Man Singh presented about the details of how Digital Signature Certificate can be used and why the use of DSC is essential for any financial institution.
Technical briefing was given by Operation Manager of Nepal Certifying Company Mr. Chiranjibi Adhikari, where he outlined the benefits of DSC in the overall banking system.
NIC Asia is among few banks that have gone completely paperless in their day-to-day activities. NIC Asia Bank Manager – IT Strategy and Planning Mr. Parmeswor Shrestha said that, “Implication of DSC will help to completely authenticate and secure the paperless activities that NIC Asia Bank have already started.”
