CAN Federation Emphasizes Digital Awareness As It Expanded To 77 Districts Of Nepal
The Federation of the Computer Association of Nepal (CAN) has expanded its branches to 77 districts. With the recent expansion of branches in Humla, CAN Federation has its presence in every district of Nepal.
Under the leadership of the present president, Nawaraj Kunwar, the first branch of the CAN Federation was formed in Rupandehi in 2058 BS. It might have been faith that under Mr. Kunwar’s leadership, the federation has expanded to 77 districts.
CAN Federation President Nawaraj Kunwar further states there are three generations collectively known as 3Gs. The first generation in Nepal does not know anything at all about information technology, the second generation is changing itself into technical resources, and the third generation is growing up with it. According to Chairman Kunwar, the CAN Federation is working in every district to bridge the three-generation gap and promote digital awareness. We must put forth a lot of effort to make first-generation information technology user-friendly.
Mr. Kunwar acknowledges the private sector’s participation in the development of information technology in Nepal. Computer Association of Nepal (CAN) was founded in 1992.
The Computer Association of Nepal was then transformed into a federation in 2015. At present, the Computer Association of Nepal (CAN) is working as a governing organization of the private sector by forming a federation.
