Softwarica College in Dillibazaar, Kathmandu has announced the ‘Nepal IoT Challenge’ in collaboration with Coventry University, the UK targeting the students who have appeared for the class 12 examination.
Students can participate in this competition in groups to showcase their talents. To participate in the competition, a group of five members can register. After that, the registered groups should participate in the 10-day free boot camp organized by the college.
The students of Softwarica College have so far built drones, smart homes, electric vehicles, autonomous vehicles, traffic management systems smart agriculture, smart parking, flood detection, smart security, fire control robots, and many more.
The college has informed that students who can make or are interested in making something like this can participate in the competition.
Necessary training related to that competition will be given in the Bootcamp. After completing the training, participants will have to complete their IoT project with their group and submit it and the three best projects will get a chance to win cash prizes.
The first-place winner will receive a cash prize of Rs.50,000. Similarly, the second and third place winners will receive Rs.30,000 and Rs.20,000 respectively.
