Design and Display

The Dell G3 15 3500 comes with a very basic design just like its predecessor, with blue color subtle hues all around the laptop. This Dell Laptop has a much cleaner and sturdy look even though it is made of plastic. You can choose between two options Alpine White and Eclipse Black, both of them feature a subtle blue finish on top which enhances the look of the laptop. This new Laptop has a typical 15.6” display with FHD (1920 x 1080p) resolution. Its display is surrounded by some of the thickest bezels compared to other laptops launched in 2020. Unlike some of the gaming laptops, the G3 15 at least has a good 720p basic web camera. The display of the laptop comes with a matte finish and it reduces the reflections and light flares. When it comes to color grading, this is an 8-bit panel with a 60Hz refresh rate. Its Display isn’t as vibrant as the ROG G14, the G3 15’s. It has two brightness levels 220 nits and 300 nits. Also, a model with a 144Hz refresh rate is available.

Processor Performance

The Dell G3 15 3500 runs on 10th Gen Intel Core i5 10300H CPU. It is a quad-core eight-thread CPU which has a boost clock speed of 4.5GHz and a base clock speed of 2.5GHz. The i7 – 10750H, comes with cores (6 cores / 12 threads)with a clock frequency of up to 5 GHz. Also has a bigger cache size of 12MB compared to the 8MB of 10300H. Also, you can get up to NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2060 (6GB GDDR6).

Talking about storage, this Dell laptop is available in 4GB and 8GB RAM configurations, based on DDR4 technology. The G3 3500 has 128GB of PCIe M.2 SSD (Class 35) and the top model increases it to 1TB (Class 40). One can also go for a 128GB SSD (Class 35) plus 1TB HDD (5400 RPM) combo by dual memory configurations. The model at the top offers 512 GB SSD (Class 35) paired along with 512 GB SSD (Class 40).

Depending on the model of the Dell laptop you will get 51 WHr (3-celled) or 68 WHr (4-celled) batteries along with 130W or 240W AC adapter.

For connectivity All the laptop model features 1 x HDMI 2.0, 1 x USB 3.2 Gen 1, 1 x SD card reader, 1 x USB 2.0, and a headphone/mic combo. The ones with GTX 1650 Ti comes with a RJ45 port (Gigabit Ethernet) and USB-C Display port.
