Foreign Employment World Welfare Fund (DofE) has tied up with Khalti to ease Digital Payments in Nepal.
People going for foreign employment can now make online payments for Foreign Employment World Welfare Fund from their phone easily using the Khalti Digital Wallet.
Khalti recently collaborated with Foreign Employment World Welfare Fund to bring online payment facilities for welfare fund payment. So, now, by downloading the Khalti app, anyone can pay the welfare fund by tapping the Foreign Employment Welfare Fund (DofE) in the Government Services menu on Khalti App’s home screen.
The payment amount in the welfare fund for those going for less than 3 years is Rs. 1500 and for 3 to 10 years is Rs. 2500. Both of them, those who go by themselves as an individual or through Manpower for foreign employment, can pay the fee from the company through the Khalti App. The money thus deposited in the welfare fund is used for the relief and welfare of Nepalese who are stranded, suffering, and in dire financial straits.
