An electric pickup truck is now in the Nepali market. During the test on Nepali highways, electric pickup trucks were seen for the first time. The electric pickup is currently being tested on the road. This electric pickup truck belongs to JAC Company.
The JAC pickup is a fully electric vehicle that resembles a petrol or diesel double cabin truck. It can comfortably seat up to five people, including the driver, as well as cargo in the back.
The pickup model JAC’s T8 model. It has a dimension of 5615*1880*1830 mm. It has a 3380 mm wheelbase. It has a ground clearance of around 200 mm.
A 67.2 kW lithium-ion phosphate battery powers the JAC T8. The battery has been approved by the NEDC and it can travel up to 300 kilometers on a single full charge. Its PMSM motor produces up to 150 PS of power and 330 Nm of torque.
This pickup is equipped with electric hydraulic steering, disc brakes on the front wheels, and drum brakes on the rear wheels.
