Facebook Messenger users can now clean up their inbox without deleting chats or mislay message history. Messenger’s new swipe and archive feature gives users the to organize their inbox while accessing inactive chats for later reference. Swipe left on a chat from the Messenger Inbox screen to find the option to archive the chat. Touch the purple button to send the chat to a new archived chat folder. Audio messaging enthusiasts can currently record hands-free messages in Messenger.no need to long-pressing the microphone button to record a message; users can tap once to start recording and tap again to finish recording.
Facebook claims there has been a 20% growth in audio messaging among US users. This update makes it simple for users to complete other tasks while recording longer messages. This feature will be accessible on Instagram soon, but it’s exclusive to Messenger now.
Changed themes
Messenger users have more options to personalize their conversations with the addition of new themes. In the chat themes menu, users can pick the new Star Wars theme or Netflix’s Selena Series theme.

Visual responses
Instagram has included sending visual responses to direct messages on iOS (upcoming to Android). This feature allows users to respond to a photo or video with one of their own. When a message carries a video and a photo are received, touch the camera icon to capture a photo or video to reply to or to download the media folder from the camera roll. A slight improvement to Instagram’s DM inbox makes it easier for users to see when a recipient has viewed their message. Users can at the moment know when a message has been read by checking their inbox. A text snippet will approve that the message has been viewed.
