STEM Foundation Nepal is going to organize the first digital seminar on International Olympiads 2020. The STEM Foundation Nepal announced the event in a press release held on August 07, 2020. The event is going to be held in all the seven provinces of Nepal.
STEM Foundation has been conducting more than 8 thematic Olympiads in Nepal. Meanwhile, the foundation expects that this year’s seminar will be beneficial to maximum students.
Firstly, the students should take part in the National Olympiad. Then, the selected participants can take part in international competitions. The participants can travel to various parts of the world to take part in the competition. This will provide global exposure to them.
A brief history of Olympiad
The first-ever Olympiad was organized in Romania in 1959. Although very late, Nepal participated in the Physics Olympiad in 2006.
Today it’s 2020 and various young minds have already participated in the events. Not only that, but they have also managed to bag bronze medals in various subjects.
Along with this, the STEM Foundation Nepal has just opened the applications of Nepal Junior Science Olympiad in collaboration with Science Teachers Society Nepal – STAN.
